In this post, we shall uncover the hidden meaning of Smyrna as the symbol of the executive and administrative branches of God.
The city of Smyrna was a prosperous and beautiful seaport in Asia Minor, known for its culture, commerce, and religion. It was also a loyal ally of Rome and a centre of emperor worship.
The Christians in Smyrna faced hostility and pressure from both the pagan Romans and the Jewish synagogue, which Jesus called "a synagogue of Satan" (Revelation 2:9). They were poor, slandered, imprisoned, and even martyred for refusing to compromise their allegiance to Christ.
The church of Smyrna is an example of a
suffering church that remained faithful to God despite the opposition and oppression
they faced.
Smyrna as part of the seven golden candlesticks shares the same hidden symbolism of the seven golden candlesticks. These are the seven branches of God. This is the template of the organizational structure of God in the whole of the universe.

1. KEY #1. The 1st key; Revelation 2: 8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna, write; identifies the head of Smyrna, the leaders and administration branch of God.

2. KEY #2. The 2nd key; These things saith the first and the last, identifies the function of the church from its code, the first and the last.
the first and the last=first citizen or head of state who also doubles as the last and least in the society.
Most heads abandon their role of caring for the least, preferring only the goodly high side of their office.
The king or head of a unit assumes his or her responsibility as the first citizen and the last or least citizen of the nation or unit. This is why kingship should only be offered to people on the seventh wheel and above. It has to be someone who has a firm grasp of the wheel of life. This is what Socrates was trying to teach the Greeks. But it cost him his life.
Matthew 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
He or she then has a proper understanding of the first citizenship, the protector of the least as well as the mighty in society.
Most first citizens forget their second role as protector of the weak and vulnerable in society, who are the last.
The least development level for a king or head of state is that of the fitches, an anointed king on the last stage of the zodiac wheel.

Let us confirm the six judicial and leadership developmental steps unto the seat of an anointed king or head of state using King Solomon’s throne.

King Solomon’s throne, the throne of an anointed king has six steps, for the simple reason that the king is a crowned judge, who has gone through six judicial and leadership development steps to arrive at his throne as a crowned judge.

3. KEY #3. The 3rd key; Which was dead, and is alive; means the resurrection or born-again principle of the spirit of God. The posture of being alive to the needs of God and dead to the lusts of this world, to wickedness, greed and gluttony, often leading one to hell.
This principle implies that one is born of the spirit of God and not that of the flesh!
John 1: 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Leaders who fail to abide by these codes will pay for their deviation from these codes.
WHO ARE THE WORSHIPPERS IN SMYRNA?
These are the leaders and administrators in all works of life, in private and public offices, irrespective of religious affiliations!
The common meanings of the words church, servant, or minister of God have become very narrow in meaning today. All leaders in the public or private sectors are ministers and priests of God. They should see themselves as such and are not less than their counterparts in the pulpits and the cathedrals!
Their accountability before God is in line with Romans 13.
Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
LEADERS AS RULERS AND ADMINISTRATORS ARE MISTERS OF GOD
The congregation of Smyrna constitutes the executive branch of governments as the leaders and administrators of all organizations in all countries.
Romans 13:1 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. 5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. 6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
This is the template of God’s administrative branch in the universe. This is Smyrna, the executive branch of God.
CHRIST’S SUPERVISORY REPORT
Christ's supervisory report is a job appraisal. It marks the beginning or the end of an era. This one is at the start of a new age, the New Testament for repentance for the remission of sins.
The Christ supervisory report normally has three components or parts. Part one: an approval or commendation, part two: a rebuke or disapproval, and Part three, the consequences of continued disobedience.
Let us consider this now for Smyrna, the congregation of the leaders in society.
COMMENDATION
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. 11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

THE REWARD OF GOD
Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
All leaders, kings, presidents, heads of state, governors, captains of industries, labour leaders, and elders in any given society should look up to this house of God as their church. They should abide by the code of the church as the first and the last and execute justice fairly as the custodian of the weak as well as the mighty. Pitching tents with the mighty is a weakness that is very prevalent among the world’s ruling elite.
WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM THE
CHURCH OF SMYRNA TODAY?

Jews are Israelites, a general spiritual name for the children of God. The children of God keep God’s commandments.
Christ’s warning to the Smyrna congregation highlights the
growing problem of governance in which the leaders being the children of God, rob the poor to pay the
rich. This is blasphemy.

LESSONS FOR THE CHURCH OF SMYRNA FROM THE 6TH SEAL OF JUDGMENT
Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; ---15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

LEADERS ARE PRIESTS OF GOD, KING DAVID’S EXAMPLE
The Aaronic priesthood starts from the level of the prophets. King David, King Cyrus, Moses, Aaron, and many others mentioned in the Bible who were prophets.
Here King David recognized himself as a priest of God, not only in his duties on the throne but also recognizing to use his ceremonial robe as a priest of God.
2 Samuel 6:13 And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings. 14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
CONCLUSION
